Taxi Driver Umeå Full-Time/Part-Time

We are now looking for more drivers to join our team in Umeå. We are seeking both full-time drivers, part-time drivers, and extra drivers. As an extra driver, you choose which shifts you want to work, but the company requests that you maintain a minimum service level of 10% as an employee. As a full-time or part-time driver, you will work according to a continuous schedule. For these positions, employment can start immediately or soon. Before your start date, you will receive training in the company's procedures and equipment. We are primarily looking for applicants who already hold a taxi license, but we also welcome applicants interested in obtaining a taxi license if you seem like the right person for our organization. If you do not have a taxi license, we can offer assistance with your studies to obtain one (study materials, etc.). We also cover the costs of obtaining the taxi license (exam fees, medical examination, etc.). We are looking for Umeå's best drivers. Taxi driving is a very service-oriented profession with significant customer contact. It is easy to think that taxi driving involves taking people to and from bars on weekend evenings, as this is often what people associate with taxis privately. Driving taxi for us is primarily about conducting publicly-funded traffic on weekdays. This includes medical trips for regions, school trips, and transportation service trips for municipalities. We also have a significant number of business trips for corporate clients. You work constantly with people and are often key to their daily lives, helping them get to and from healthcare facilities, schools, work, etc. We cover a large geographical area and operate traffic throughout much of Norrland. For example, we have vehicles stationed in Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Nordmaling, Robertsfors, Skellefteå, Sollefteå, Vindeln, Vännäs, Umeå, and Örnsköldsvik municipalities. It is not uncommon for us to have many longer trips across municipal boundaries and throughout large parts of Norrland. We currently have approximately 185 vehicles and approximately 300 employed drivers. In addition to conducting trips and taking care of our customers, your job responsibilities include keeping the vehicles you drive in clean and well-maintained condition.
