We operate hospital dental care, our own dental laboratory, and have a public health function that works to expand knowledge about oral health and invests in preventive dentistry. We are now seeking a dental assistant for a temporary position from 2026-10-01 through 2027-09-30. Rättvik is beautifully situated by Lake Siljan, and the municipality offers many activities during both winter and summer, such as hiking, skiing, ice skating, swimming, fitness swimming, gym, relaxation, and workouts. The municipality has both large and small businesses. We also have excellent train connections to Stockholm and Arlanda, among other places. Responsibilities At Folktandvården Rättvik, we currently have dentists, hygienists, dental nurses, clinic coordinators, and a clinic manager. We work completely digitally with our patient records system (T4) as well as with X-ray and impression scanning equipment. We enjoy working in team dentistry. Qualifications Requirements: High school diploma (you may be curious about pursuing education in dental care) Good skills in Swedish, both written and spoken Meritorious: Care education, such as nursing assistant certification from the Care and Health Program or the Care and Health vocational package at adult education Personal Qualities: We place great importance on personal suitability. We would like to see that you work well with other people and communicate with both colleagues and patients in a responsive and flexible manner. You view patient care and service as a natural part of your work. Additionally, you are skilled at organizing and prioritizing work efficiently.
