The position will primarily be located in the Department of Clinical Occlusal Physiology, which is part of Specialist Dental Care Gävle Hospital. Some work in Hudiksvall may occur. We have broad expertise, and in addition to occlusal physiology, we also have specialists in orofacial medicine, oral prosthodontics, radiography, oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontology. We also have our own dental laboratory and sterilization center. We also collaborate continuously with the orthodontics and pediatric dentistry departments through specialist rounds. Together we are over 75 employees. Specialist Dental Care Gävle Hospital aims to be at the forefront - we grow and develop with broad clinical collaboration between specialists, general dentistry, and healthcare to provide health-promoting dental care. Clinical occlusal physiology is the specialty within dentistry that investigates and treats long-term pain conditions and functional disorders in the face and jaws. We also work with anti-sleep apnea treatments and have close collaboration with the medical departments for rheumatology, otolaryngology, and neurology. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a dental hygienist/dental assistant, you will work with standard dental assistant tasks. You will participate in patient care with occlusal physiological examinations, independent patient work both digitally and physical follow-up and treatment, as well as some administrative work such as scheduling and contacting patients. We strive to digitalize much of our work and would like to see you take an active role in that process. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a qualified dental hygienist or dental assistant with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in occlusal physiology and want to develop within this specialty.
