We participate in the clinical education of dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians, and conduct dental technical operations. We offer modern and well-equipped clinics and are at the forefront of research and development through our close collaboration with the Department of Odontology, Umeå University. Specialist dental care is primarily located at the base unit Norrlands Akademiska Tandvård in connection with Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå. Our operations are one of several within the same base unit. We provide specialist dental care and specialist training for dentists and have close collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Umeå University in basic and advanced education as well as research and development work. For specialist dental care, the Prosthodontics and Periodontology department, we are now seeking a dental assistant primarily positioned within Prosthodontics. With us, you will be part of a closely knit team with good cohesion, where we help each other, share knowledge, and have excellent collaboration. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a dental assistant with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. With us, you get a varied role that includes assisting with treatments, supervising students, and some administration. There may also be assistance in other departments as needed. You will work together with our specialists, ST dentists, and dental hygienists as part of our specialist teams. We use computerized scheduling and electronic patient records T 4. QUALIFICATIONS You must have a dental assistant degree. Previous experience in dentistry, teaching, and/or mentoring is a merit. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment and interest in dentistry and the subject of Prosthodontics. Care and service are a natural part of your work, which includes the ability to see patient needs from a holistic perspective. You are flexible and have a good ability to take own initiative. You also have excellent collaboration skills and enjoy both assisting and working independently. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and have an easy time expressing yourself. You have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work.
