The department has just over 30 employees in the professional categories of senior dentists, dental specialists in training, orthodontic assistants, and dental hygienists. The Public Dental Care specialist dentistry is centrally located in Örebro, near the Travel Center. Several dental specialties are located here: dental radiology, occlusal physiology, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics. We have close collaboration with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic and the Unit for Orofacial Medicine, and we work closely in care, education, and research with the nearby University Hospital and Örebro University. Job Responsibilities The responsibilities include delegated patient work, assistance, and administrative work. As a dental hygienist, you have good service awareness, enjoy taking responsibility, and are independent in your professional role. We offer varied and developmental work with a patient population consisting mainly of children and young adults, great colleagues, and opportunities for continuous development. Qualifications We're looking for someone who, like us, meets people with respect, care, and understanding. You value high quality and good service in your work. You enjoy collaborating with others but also have the ability to work independently and take responsibility. You have an interest in development—both your own and the organization's—and are happy to contribute to developing work methods and supporting colleagues. You are an orthodontic assistant or dental hygienist with at least 2 years of documented experience and an interest in the field of Orthodontics, with a desire to develop further. We place great emphasis on qualities such as service awareness and collaboration and initiative skills. You speak Swedish fluently and express yourself well in both speech and writing. You have documented knowledge of Swedish. Meritorious Requirements: - Are a trained dental hygienist with at least 2 years of documented experience, or are a trained orthodontic assistant - Have an interest in orthodontics and want to develop within the field - Have good service awareness and professional conduct - Are responsible, independent, and have good collaboration skills - It's a merit if you have previous experience from an orthodontic clinic.
