Become part of something bigger. Welcome to Public Dental Care! We are now seeking an independent dental hygienist who understands the importance of good service and excellent patient care. Main Duties and Responsibilities At Public Dental Care Frölunda Kulturhus, you will meet patients of all ages with many different care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will use your full range of skills while the position also demands creativity, empathy and customer service orientation. The position includes: Assisting with examinations and treatments Working with your own patients on preventive treatments, inductions, oral health counseling or acclimation treatment Work in the sterile area and at reception We currently have a total of 24 employees distributed across the clinic's 8 treatment rooms. Required Qualifications and Profile Dental hygienist with education approved by MYH (Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education) Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care Strong knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Ability to independently handle administrative tasks Capacity to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely Ability to project a calm and stable demeanor even when there is much to do Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in an attentive manner Contribute to the development of the clinic by actively participating in improvement work If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly educated dental hygienists. About the Recruitment Process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline, the clinic manager will review the applicants and invite candidates to interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 35 and 36.
