If so, we look forward to your application! Work in External Pediatric Dental Care A large part of the work involves visits to preschools and schools. Together as a team, you will conduct lessons on diet and tooth decay with the aim of giving children a strong foundation for lifelong good oral health. You will be an important part in fulfilling our goal that all children in our region have the right to receive the same information. As part of the external pediatric dental care team, you will be an important resource for transferring knowledge to the region's young patients. In this role, you will collaborate with other staff members on the team. Currently, three teams are deployed across three different areas. The teams are already operational and working throughout the region. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a trained dental hygienist. We value that you have good knowledge of dental practice. Furthermore, you have a strong interest in working with children. In accordance with the job's responsibilities, we particularly value pedagogical skills. Since the target group spans a wide age range, it is also advantageous if you are flexible in your approach. Because the position involves teaching about oral hygiene and eating habits in schools, we particularly value that you are comfortable in a classroom environment. You have strong ability to express yourself orally and in writing in both Swedish and English. Since travel is part of the job, a Category B driver's license is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, quality awareness, and the desire to contribute to a good work environment. Our Offer to You The assignment with the pediatric dental care team typically involves one day per week during school terms, which equals 20%. During Christmas and summer breaks, you will work clinically. You are expected to continue in your position as a dental hygienist for the remaining part of the time.
