We are now seeking a collaborative dentist who wants to make a difference Primary duties and responsibilities At Folktandvården Lysekil, you'll meet patients of all ages with diverse care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring patients feel well received and safe during their visit. You'll use your full range of competencies while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a strong service orientation. This is a parental leave position for one year or longer. The position includes, among other things: - Working both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues in the treatment room. - Performing both routine examinations and more advanced treatments, and to some extent emergency dental care. - Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics. We currently have a total of 12 employees who view the clinic as a shared responsibility, where we help each other and enjoy working together. Please read more about our opening hours and directions: Folktandvården Lysekil - Folktandvården (vgregion.se) Required competencies and profile - Licensed dentist - Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry - Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary education or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing - Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely - Ability to present a calm and steady demeanor even when there is a lot to do - Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner - Contribute to organizational development by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development. About the recruitment process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline, the clinic manager will select applicants and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 35 and 36. If you are an applicant with education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples may be required as part of the recruitment process.
