We are now seeking a team-oriented dentist who wants to make a difference Primary Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Karlsborg, you will meet patients of all ages with diverse care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring patients feel well received and secure during their visits. You'll use your full range of expertise while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented approach. The position includes: Working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in the treatment room Handling both routine examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care to some extent Serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics There is an opportunity for dentists to obtain authorization to perform certain examinations for the Swedish Armed Forces. We are a dental school clinic and accept students from dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Student supervision and assistance may also be part of the position. Our clinic currently has a total of five employees with six treatment rooms. Feel free to learn more about our opening hours and directions: Folktandvården Karlsborg - Folktandvården Required Competencies and Profile Licensed dentist, preferably with several years of experience Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry Swedish language proficiency equivalent to Swedish high school level or Swedish C1 in both speaking and writing Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely Capability to project a stable and calm demeanor even during busy periods Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner Contribute to operational development by actively participating in clinic improvement initiatives If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentorship program during your first year. The mentorship program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development. About the Recruitment Process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline closes, the clinic manager will review applicants and invite selected candidates for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 37-38. If you are an applicant with education/degree from another EU/EES country than Sweden and lack references, supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples may be required as part of the recruitment process.
