We are now seeking a collaborative dentist who wants to make a difference Primary Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Falköping/Stenstorp, you will see patients of all ages with diverse healthcare needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring patients feel well-received and secure during their visits. You will use all of your expertise while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset. The position includes, among other things: working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room handling both straightforward examinations and more advanced treatments, and to some extent emergency dental care being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics We are a VFU clinic and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Mentoring/assisting students may also become part of your role. We work in a positive spirit, where humor and work satisfaction are a significant part of our culture. Teamwork and the development of ourselves, our care, and our working methods are major focuses at the clinic. We currently have a total of 38 employees across our two clinics located in Falköping and Stenstorp. The position involves work at both clinics as needed. Please feel free to read more about our hours and how to find us: Folktandvården Falköping - Folktandvården (vgregion.se) and Folktandvården Stenstorp, Falköping - Folktandvården (vgregion.se) Required Competencies and Profile Licensed dentist Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish secondary school level or Swedish C1 in both speaking and writing Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and thoughtful manner Ability to project a calm and composed demeanor even during busy periods Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner Contribute to operational development by actively participating in the clinic's improvement initiatives If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development. About the Recruitment Process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline, the clinic manager will review the applicants and invite selected candidates for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 35-36. If you as an applicant have education/qualifications from another EU/EES country than Sweden and lack references, supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples may be requested as part of the recruitment process.
