Dental Hygienist at Reputable Clinic in South Stockholm About the Workplace We are seeking a dental hygienist for our modern and well-established dental care clinic located in Hökarängens Center, situated in a pleasant and peaceful area in Hökarängen with easy access to the subway. Our clinic is the only one in the area and has a long tradition, founded back in the 1950s, with a stable and loyal patient base. The clinic has been completely renovated and offers a bright and fresh environment with two treatment rooms, sterilization area, reception, and waiting room. Currently, the team consists of a dentist who also serves as clinic manager, one dental hygienist, two dental assistants, and a receptionist. The clinic is currently in an exciting transition phase, where we wish to expand our operations by adding at least one more dental hygienist who wants to be part of developing the clinic and has the opportunity to leave their mark on our practice. Job Responsibilities The role of dental hygienist involves varied work where you will care for patients with a focus on preventive dentistry, periodontal treatments, and general oral hygiene. We also offer flexibility in the role and are open to shaping it according to your own interests and professional goals. You will work closely with both the dentist and dental assistants as part of a collaborative team to ensure the highest quality of care. Some time allocated to assistance and delegated teamwork may also occur, which is part of our clinic's strategy for providing high-quality dental care. Qualifications You are a licensed dental hygienist with several years of professional experience. We would appreciate if you have experience working both preventively and with periodontal treatments, but most importantly you have a genuine interest in improving our patients' oral health. Experience with IT systems such as Symphoni, Libretto, Microsoft, and Frenda is a merit but not a requirement. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and thorough. You have good communication skills and the ability to build trust with our patients, and you are passionate about making a positive difference in their lives through good oral health. You should feel comfortable making independent decisions within your scope of practice, but also be willing to seek new information when needed. Since staff may have somewhat different work schedules, you should be comfortable with occasional hours where solo work may occur. However, this is not part of the daily routine and may occur a few times per quarter. You work well with others, are organized in your work, and enjoy having a varied workday. It is also important that you are flexible and can adapt when new challenges arise. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to project professionalism in your professional role. Additional Information The position is full-time, and work hours can be discussed to fit both your and our operations.
