We are now seeking a dental hygienist who wants to make a difference Key Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Olskroken, you will meet patients of all ages with diverse care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring patients feel well-received and secure during their visits. You will utilize your full expertise while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented attitude. The position includes, among other things: Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages Working with your own patient assessments and identifying, evaluating, and planning appropriate oral health interventions Outreach dental care at senior living facilities The clinic is open from 7am-7pm except Fridays when it closes at 5pm. You will have varied working hours and work until 7pm one to two days per week. We operate according to the 30/10 model: 30 hours of clinical time per week for a full-time position, 10 hours administration. Our clinic currently has a total of 35 employees with 12 treatment rooms. The clinic is located at Olskrokstorget, a vibrant urban environment close to the city center. There are excellent transportation connections to all parts of Gothenburg. Required Qualifications and Profile Licensed dental hygienist Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care Swedish language proficiency equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speaking and writing Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and sensible manner Capability to project a calm and stable demeanor even during busy periods Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive manner Contribute to operational development by actively participating in the clinic's improvement initiatives. If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individualized mentoring program during your first year. Mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes network meetings, team and communication training, as well as observation at specialist or general dental care clinics. About the Recruitment Process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline, the clinic manager will review the applicants and invite selected candidates to interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 33-34.
