We are seeking a dental hygienist for Public Dental Care's Public Health Initiatives, Outreach Oral Health Services in Örebro and Public Dental Care Adolfsberg - Now you have the chance to join our team! Public Dental Care's Public Health Initiatives has three main missions: work with General Oral Health Initiatives for children and young people, Outreach Oral Health Services, and a Knowledge Center for Elderly Oral Health. Public Dental Care's Public Health Initiatives is organizationally part of Public Dental Care's Education Division and is located at Haga centrum in Örebro. Job Duties The position primarily involves work with Outreach Oral Health Services based in Örebro. The duties include performing oral health assessments and providing oral health education to care and social services staff. The work involves considerable travel, as we meet patients at care and residential facilities as well as in private residences. As a dental hygienist in general dentistry, you will primarily work with preventive dentistry, diagnostics, and treatment of caries and periodontitis. You will treat both children and adults. Qualifications In addition to a dental hygienist degree, it is meritorious if you have documented experience in pediatric and adult dentistry and in working in teams and collaborative sessions. You are naturally someone who enjoys working with patients requiring necessary dental care and is willing to take on tasks outside traditional clinical dental hygiene work. You need to be able to speak and teach groups of people fluently. You must be fluent in Swedish and express yourself well in speech and writing. We work with digital medical records in Frenda and Symfoni, so you need to have good computer skills. As the work involves travel, you must have a driver's license (category B) and access to a car. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as flexibility, teamwork and initiative, as well as the ability to work independently. You are social and easily establish contact with people, and are accustomed to managing many different responsibilities. About the Position Full-time 100% at Public Dental Care distributed between two units: 60% at FTV Adolfsberg, 40% at Outreach Oral Health Services.
