In this role, you will become part of Aeronautics in the IT Applications area and join the Design Applications section, which is responsible for management, development, and user support of Aeronautics CAD tools for design. The section provides systems and methods for Model Based Definition (MBD) with broad expertise in system management, system development, system administration, user support, and methodology development. Your Responsibilities As a systems developer, you will work in a broad role that encompasses both daily operations and development of Saab's systems, such as VPM and Catia. You will work systematically to develop solution proposals, concepts, and ideas to develop and improve Saab's systems, where a central part of the role is to translate business requirements into well-functioning and sustainable system solutions. In your daily work, you are responsible for tasks such as installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, error correction, testing, documentation development, documentation updates, and programming. In this role, you will be involved throughout the entire chain from idea and design to implementation and management, which gives you a comprehensive understanding of system development and the opportunity to contribute your ideas and expertise at each step. Your Profile For the role of systems developer, we see that you have post-secondary education in computer science, IT, systems science, mechanical engineering, or design and product development. You have also worked for several years in a similar area. For this role, it is also desirable that you have experience in some of the following areas: System management or system administration. Integrations. Server configurations. Windows administrative functions. UNIX and AIX environments. Developing scripts/programs for, for example, automation via Visual Basic Script, VB.NET, JavaScript, Java, Shell/Korn Shell, CAA, SQL, C++ and/or C#. Version control via, for example, SVN and GIT. PPLM systems and Agile methodologies. As a person, you are engaged, responsible, and results-oriented. You have good analytical skills that enable you to think innovatively and find solutions to challenges and problems. You are comfortable working both independently and in a team, and you can communicate fluently in Swedish and English. This position requires that you undergo and be approved according to applicable security clearance regulations at any given time. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may, in some cases, require specific citizenship. Application Process In this recruitment, Saab is collaborating with Skill.
