Your Assignment As a systems developer, you will be part of the Global Collection and Processing office. The office is responsible for providing FRA with the technical systems needed for the operational area. The office develops, manages, and deploys new technical systems as well as handles operations and maintenance of existing systems. In line with the above description of the office's work, your main tasks will consist of developing new systems, working on further development and management of existing systems. In your role, collaboration is important, both within the team and with the operations where you will assist with questions regarding design, architecture, implementation, and testing choices, with a consistent security focus. The team you will be part of works agile, where you are involved from the first idea to deployment. You will work with a smaller group in an environment that encourages creativity and innovation. We have close collaboration within the team but we also work closely with both users, stakeholders, and operations. Domestic travel may occur in this position. Technical tests will be used as a selection method at a later stage in the recruitment process. Your Skills We are looking for someone who has/is: Educated as a Civil Engineer/Engineering graduate or has obtained equivalent knowledge through experience Several years of experience with systems development in Linux environments Good knowledge of networking/data communication Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written We consider it meritorious if you have work experience with: Systems administration, management and operations of Linux-based systems Programming with any of C, C++, Rust Agile methods Container technology such as Kubernetes DPDK Physical server environment Git Ansible CI/CD Python & GO IDS software such as Snort or Suricata Class B driving license Your Personal Qualities We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities, where we are looking for someone who has: Collaboration skills – Works well with other people.
