In modern facilities in the heart of Norrköping, a development team builds digital solutions for an entire city. Now we have an opening – and we are seeking a senior systems developer who wants to be part of building services that are truly used – by residents, businesses, and decision-makers.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who wants to take a central and driving role in our skilled development team – someone who enjoys finding smart, well-thought-out solutions whether it's a web app, mobile app, API, or system integration. With a genuine interest in software development, you are happy to share your knowledge and contribute to raising the team's expertise.
You have many years of experience in systems development with a broad technical foundation, deep knowledge of software architecture and secure systems development, as well as solid experience with Kubernetes and container-based environments. Knowledge of databases and handling large data sets is a merit. We recruit based on competence — whether your skills come from higher education or personal drive, combined with years in the industry.
We work agile and primarily use TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React, SQL, HTML, CSS, Git, Kubernetes, and Linux – although other technologies are used. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English and contribute to a positive and open atmosphere where experiences and ideas are shared freely.
Your responsibilities
You translate the organization's needs into well-founded technical decisions and develop innovative, stable, and secure solutions for the municipality's various needs – from designing and developing to deploying and maintaining finished systems. You guide the team on architecture and design issues and drive secure systems development as a natural part of the process.
Through code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring, you contribute to establishing common guidelines and best practices. Managing multiple projects in parallel is a natural part of everyday work, and we value a structured approach when priorities change.
With us, you have great opportunities to influence technology choices and working methods, with room for personal development beyond software development in areas such as IT security, Linux environments, and Kubernetes. Work takes place in pleasant facilities, with the possibility of remote work two days per week.
