Systems Developer with Focus on AI-Assisted System Documentation

Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. Welcome to one of Sweden's largest IT departments. We are three teams within the Development product area that make Försäkringskassan's approximately 100 systems development teams more productive. They can focus on business logic while complying with and following requirements. We provide everything from purchased to custom-developed products. What we have in common is that we develop, operate, and support all our products. Digital System Documentation Transformation You will integrate AI into our software development process from business architecture to production and support. You will drive change within systems development and system documentation and create conditions for the use of modern AI tools. We are ambitious about having all teams use AI support daily. You will create the foundation for digital transformation and automation of the Social Insurance Code. In this role, you will lead the transformation of system documentation from today's non-machine-readable texts with high variance in semantics and syntax to machine-readable system documentation across the entire development-production-support chain. System documentation and its context are the new source code. Well-functioning information management gives us the conditions for legally secure administration, efficiencies, and prevention of benefit fraud. To achieve this, we need to perform information separation where we can de-identify information classified as internal to information classified as open. Automatic and reversible information separation requires uniform syntax, semantics, and low variance. We need information separation to achieve robustness, flexibility, and efficiency in the use of AI, and that is where you make it possible. You will be part of an engaged team that develops and manages a range of support systems – both custom-developed and standard systems – that actively support Försäkringskassan's application developers. You thrive working in teams. Your work will combine code development with production and support, where you will have daily close contact with our customers, Försäkringskassan's systems developers. We work with Windows (client/server), Linux, and OpenShift. You will participate in the initiative to develop Försäkringskassan's target platform where our products accelerate systems developers' work. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work for us, have high security awareness. It is a merit if you have knowledge of AI-assisted systems development, development tools and methods knowledge and experience in software architecture and design patterns experience working with uniform syntax and semantics to build systems with low variance and machine-readable ontologies to standardize business concepts experience working with structured, machine-readable formats (for example YAML, JSON, Markdown) experience with automatic information separation, data masking and pseudonymization experience with digital transformation from business architecture to production.
