Eccera is now seeking several systems developers for an exciting development team at our customer in northern Stockholm. We are looking for someone with at least 3–6 years of experience in systems development who wants to work with advanced and societally critical systems in a technically challenging environment. The customer is a product company that develops proprietary solutions for operations where high demands are placed on availability, security, and quality throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will become part of a team working to develop products, services, and turnkey systems for players on the front lines of society, with the aim of strengthening security and resilience in critical operations. The team develops, among other things, high-performance VPN and firewall solutions, with a focus on secure communication, network protection, and reliable operation in demanding environments. Work is primarily on-site in northern Stockholm and is a direct hire, meaning you will be employed directly by the customer. About the Role You work operationally with systems development in an environment where security, performance, and stability are central. The solutions are used in societally critical functions and place high demands on quality and long-term reliability. Here you do not work with generic standard solutions, but with advanced systems in complex environments – sometimes in isolated (air-gapped) infrastructures – where reliability is critical. Responsibilities Develop and further develop systems within security-critical environments Ensure high quality, performance, and stability in code and solutions Participate in implementation of technical solutions Work on troubleshooting, optimization, and improvement of existing systems Collaborate closely with various teams on requirements, solutions, and technical decisions Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: At least 3–6 years of experience in systems development Experience from product companies or business-focused development is a merit Strong understanding of how applications, platforms, networks, and operations work together Experience working in Linux-based environments Familiarity with performance-critical and robust systems Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Ability to undergo security clearance Meritorious Experience Development in security-critical or highly available (HA) systems Knowledge of networking and network security (VPN, firewalls, routing) Experience with authentication, certificates, and PKI Work in complex environments with integrations and on-premises solutions Experience with container technology and modern platforms Technologies You May Encounter Python, C, Bash, Linux Docker, Kubernetes, Proxmox, OpenStack Networking: IPv4/v6, DNS, DHCP, routing & switching Security: VPN, firewalls, proxy, PKI APIs and communication protocols (REST, WebRTC, XMPP)
