Systems Technician for AI and BI Platforms

Do you want to work with the technology that enables advanced analytics and AI in one of Sweden's largest IT environments? With us, you'll develop and maintain stable and secure platforms that create value for all of Trafikverket. Responsibilities As a systems technician, you'll work with operations, maintenance, and further development of Trafikverket's platforms for business intelligence (BI), advanced analytics, and AI. The platforms include databases, integrations, access controls, and applications, and exist in both Windows and Linux environments as well as on our OpenShift container platform. You'll be part of a team where you collaborate closely with product owners, scrum masters, and others. Together, you'll ensure that the platforms are stable, secure, and optimized while developing them to meet future business needs. In this role, you will, among other things: - Manage, configure, and maintain databases, primarily Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL - Contribute to further development and improvement of our platforms - Manage access controls and permissions - Analyze and optimize performance - Work with integrations between different environments and applications - Handle technical requests related to servers, accounts, and network access - Document systems, configurations, and work methods - Work with installation, patching, upgrades, and other lifecycle management of servers and applications - Troubleshoot and handle incidents related to databases and applications Qualifications We're looking for someone with: - Current and relevant experience as a systems technician or in another role that we consider equivalent - Experience configuring SQL Server - Experience with operations and maintenance of IT systems in server environments, such as configuration and lifecycle management - Higher education of 180 credit hours with focus on data and IT, or other relevant education that we, in combination with the listed knowledge requirements, consider comparable - Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written It's a plus if you have: - Experience with container environments, such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker - Experience with PostgreSQL - Experience working in a Linux environment - Knowledge of object storage, vector databases, or graph databases To succeed in this role, it's important that you have strong problem-solving skills and a drive to improve, streamline, and enhance delivery, both independently and as part of the team. You need to be able to communicate and convey information in an easy-to-understand way, and have curiosity and a willingness to develop yourself, others, and the business.
