Job Responsibilities Trafikverket's remote control system (SCADA) for electrical, tunnel, and railway installations is used to monitor and control complex facility components. The facility is managed from a national perspective, and complex installations include building automation and comprehensive control systems, such as Citytunneln, Citybanan, and the upcoming Västlänken. We are now seeking a systems specialist who will be part of a team working nationally, consisting of systems technicians, systems specialists, and technical specialists located throughout the country. The team is responsible for operation, management, and development of Trafikverket's SCADA/ICS environment in the railway installation. We have a strong focus and drive to ensure availability, security, and performance in our systems. We support operations in their ability to control and monitor the railway installation, which in turn enables Sweden's transport system. As a systems specialist, you will play an important role in supporting our daily operations with your expert knowledge. You will work independently with significant responsibility, but also as part of a team, with daily contact with facility managers and international suppliers, as well as ongoing work with operation and maintenance of the SCADA/ICS environment and its surrounding infrastructure (Linux/Windows/Virtualization/Data Communications). You will also drive development of critical parts of our delivery with a focus on efficiency and security. We're looking for you to have: university education or other post-secondary education in IT, or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent broad and deep current and relevant experience with SCADA systems in larger industrial IT environments experience working with cybersecurity in OT knowledge and understanding of the interplay between network technology and SCADA systems good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written valid driver's license for a car It is advantageous if you have: knowledge of PSIcontrol experience with systems programming, for example in PowerShell, Python, and shell programming experience working with firewalls, intrusion detection, and/or network analysis relevant experience with IT infrastructure, e.g., servers, switches, virtualization, Linux, Windows good understanding of IT architecture knowledge of RTU/PLC technology Other Information The work location for this position is Borlänge, Gothenburg, or Karlstad. Travel occurs, mostly within the country but occasionally abroad, for example for courses.
