We are currently seeking a Junior Systems Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with one of Sweden's leading energy companies based in Gothenburg. This assignment is ideal for you if you have an interest in the energy industry and want to work with meter data management, EDI communication, and billing in a business-critical function. The assignment is expected to start in October 2026 and runs through the end of 2027. About the Assignment As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of a unit responsible for meter data collection, billing, and EDI management for the entire company group. You will be involved in a project to replace the customer information system for electricity trading. In this role, you will work with managing and quality assuring the entire meter data process, from structural information and meter values to delivered meter values for, for example, billing, energy services, external parties, and billing settlement. You will work with, among other things: • Monitoring and managing EDI traffic in accordance with applicable rules and regulations • Quality assurance of the meter data process • Handling of customer matters related to meter data and billing • Communication and collaboration with external energy companies • Troubleshooting and problem solving in daily operations • Ongoing work in customer and meter data systems Other Information Start: October 2026 End: Late 2027, with possibility for extension Scope: Full-time Location: Gothenburg About You We are looking for someone who has: • At least two years of relevant work experience within IT or system-related activities • At least one year of experience with energy metering • Knowledge of energy market laws and regulations • Experience with customer information systems It is also advantageous (but not mandatory) if you have: • Experience with EDIEL and EDI management • Experience with billing and case management systems • Experience with SAP or CAB • Experience with Generis or similar meter data management system Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you are someone who enjoys collaborating and contributing in a team.
