We are now looking for a Systems Engineer, Technical Watch Supervisor to join our team at Arlanda. You will become part of an engaged and competent team of five people working at the control center around the clock, every day of the year. Together, you are an important link in the chain to maintain efficient and safe operations at the air traffic control center, Arlanda ATCC, where you work closely with both the technology and the operations. Your Role As a Technical Watch Supervisor, you will work with monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving any errors that occur. You are responsible for ensuring that the operation of our control systems remains intact. The position involves shift work with on-call duty. Approximately 50% of the position involves active shift work while the remaining time you work as a local system responsible for one or more systems. Your knowledge and your ability to make the right decisions at the right time are critical to ensuring that air traffic control has the required safety standards and that flight times can be maintained. The position requires high responsibility and no two work shifts are ever the same. You will work in a high-tech environment where continuing education is provided tailored to the nature of the assignment. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a high school education with a technical focus or a higher engineering degree with a focus on electronics, IT, or similar. You hold a driver's license (Category B) and are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is meritable if you have: experience in creating technical documentation basic knowledge of Windows/Office, Unix/Linux, and networks/connections/modems experience with troubleshooting, analysis, and monitoring of technical systems To thrive and succeed in the role of TWS, we see that you are independent, responsible, and organized. Other Information The position is a permanent employment with a duty station at Arlanda. On-call duty is included and overnight stays may occur in the position. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement, and a six-month probationary period may be applied. Before employment, LFV will conduct a security clearance that includes register checks, security interviews, and drug testing. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
