Do you want to work with advanced technology that demands the highest levels of security, precision, and reliability? Now you have the opportunity to take the next step as a systems engineer in the defense industry, in a business that is experiencing strong growth and developing cutting-edge complex systems.
In this role, you will help advance the technology behind modern missile systems – from initial requirements to verified final product. You will be part of an experienced team with a strong technical focus, clear processes, and excellent opportunities for learning and mentorship. Placement can be in Karlstad or Karlskoga.
About the Role
As a systems engineer, you will work with system and product security in the development of advanced defense products, primarily missile systems. The work encompasses the entire product development process and is based on requirements and requests from customers or other stakeholders.
Together with the team, you will compile requirements, identify and analyze security risks, and develop, document, and monitor security requirements. You will actively participate in design and analysis work, conduct tests and verifications, and ensure that the final product meets both internal and external requirements from a systems security perspective.
The role involves close collaboration with those responsible for subsystems and components, as well as work in cross-functional project teams consisting of systems engineers, test leaders, and specialists in areas such as software, mechanics, electronics, and structural analysis. You will manage multiple parallel projects with varying scope and pace and are expected to work in a structured manner according to established processes and methods.
As new to the role, you will be offered structured onboarding and assigned an experienced mentor, which creates good conditions for both knowledge transfer and long-term development.

You are solution-oriented, flexible, and adaptable, and collaborate well with others. At the same time, you are comfortable seeking support and feedback from more experienced colleagues.
