Do you want to help secure power supply in one of Sweden's most critical systems for society? As a Systems Engineer/Functional Lead for Power Supply, you'll have a key role in an operation responsible for safe and efficient air traffic control – both civilian and military, nationally and internationally. The Common Infrastructure Unit within Systems & Development is a resource provider for administration and development assignments as well as projects within LFV. The role will work with power supply for both operational and administrative systems. As a systems engineer within Systems and Development, you'll work within a broad area of systems and administration issues. You'll work with operations, maintenance, administration, and development of our power supply for our air traffic control systems for example radar, navigation, communication, administrative systems, etc. Your responsibilities include: Engineering and support regarding power supply to air traffic control systems and administrative systems. Problem analysis of operational systems. Engineering of power supply for new and existing facilities and equipment. Participation in development and review of specifications for backup power systems and power solutions. Participation in projects and activities, both as a requirements owner and as support in implementation. Planning, implementation, and follow-up of administration activities. Your Profile We're looking for you who have technical upper secondary education with a focus on electrical engineering, power supply, or other relevant equivalent experience. To be successful in the role, you have good knowledge: of the functional chain for power supply and various backup power systems. in Swedish electrical safety legislation with underlying regulations, directives, and industry standards. in Swedish and English with good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have: good knowledge of backup generators, UPS systems, and larger battery/rectifier systems with associated batteries and alarm monitoring. good knowledge in engineering of power supply for communication equipment, engineering of power supply for new and existing electrical installations. good knowledge in operation and maintenance of various types of backup power systems. obtained authorization for low voltage (AL) from the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority. experience working with power supply for society-critical H24 operations. knowledge and experience from risk assessments of electrical installations. Work with engineering and support of power supply requires good problem-solving ability and responsibility in analysis of operational systems as well as strong planning ability to ensure sustainable and reliable solutions. You should be self-driven and have an analytical work approach. The role also requires clear communication and good collaboration in development and review of specifications as well as participation in projects. Through relationship building and adaptability, effective collaborations are created and flexibility in an operation where conditions and priorities can change. Other Information The position is permanent employment. The placement location is primarily at one of our offices in Sundsvall/Timrå, Stockholm/Arlanda, or Malmö/Sturup. The employment includes some travel, sometimes with short notice, which requires flexibility. A B driver's license is a requirement. Before employment, LFV conducts a security clearance which includes register check, security interview, and drug test. The position requires Swedish citizenship.
