About the Position
In the role of systems engineer, you are offered challenging and stimulating work in an exciting environment within our aviation unit with a focus on terminal systems, but you will also be able to work with air traffic control systems, communications, navigation, radar, and meteorological systems. You will be an important link in maintaining technical safety around aviation and air traffic.
The work includes both preventive and corrective maintenance of complex and unique systems. You will also be involved in various projects related to the different system groups. Below are examples of our different areas:
Terminal Systems
IP Networks and PC Applications
Radio Systems
Navigation Systems
Radar Systems
Air Traffic Control Systems
Meteorological Systems
Many of the systems at the airport are of a unique nature. Therefore, as a Systems Engineer, you will undergo basic training and a number of specific advanced courses. You will work within an organization that is a leader in its field and become part of a team consisting of ambitious and engaged colleagues.
You will also travel to nearby technical facilities to handle equipment outside of Landvetter. The work is performed both independently and in close collaboration with other systems engineers and follows applicable quality and safety requirements. Scheduled working hours and on-call duty are included in the role.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with a technical background, with at least three years of upper secondary education in technology or an engineering degree or equivalent experience.
We see that you have experience with:
IP Networks and PC Applications
Radio Technology and Telecommunications
Analog and Digital Electronics and Mechanics
Measurement Technology
Antenna Systems, Radio Links, or Transmission Solutions
Operation and Maintenance of Technical Systems
Experience with airport or aviation systems as well as electrical competence is advantageous.
You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written. The role requires a valid manual B driving license, and you may need to be approved for mast climbing.
As a person, you have a strong interest in technology and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and contribute to society-critical operations. You are initiative-taking, structured, and have good collaborative skills. Your work is characterized by quality, safety, and high service standards.
Additional Information
The positions are permanent employments at 100% with placement at Landvetter Airport.
Before employment, LFV conducts a security clearance which includes, among other things, record checks, security interviews, and drug testing. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
