About the Operation The Regional Management Administration has three main tasks: To direct and support operations based on legislation and regulations. To offer support and services to the operations' processes and development. To provide support and qualitative materials to the political elected officials organization and regional leadership. The IT Support business area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and common processes in the area. It is also responsible for services within these areas. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The operation's mission is to deliver IT services and telephony of high quality and security to the region's activities. Deliveries occur through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works to a large extent as a client organization since large parts of the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic journal system, and the department focuses on clinical systems administration and development. We are now seeking two systems administrators/object specialists for the clinical systems administration unit. You will work within the Healthcare Support and e-Health management object with a focus on Cosmic. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. If needed, the possibility can be given to clinical work as part of the position. Optional placement location within the region in Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Sollefteå. The unit is responsible for clinical systems administration of Cosmic. You will work closely with healthcare operations and contribute to the system functioning in the daily work of healthcare employees. The assignment involves developing, managing, and improving system support. We are now strengthening the regional Cosmic administration in the following areas: Clinical Documentation Healthcare Administration Medications Orders and Responses Training Based on your competency profile, you will be matched to the relevant area. Responsibilities Handle cases related to Cosmic and ensure they are followed up and resolved Analyze the operation's needs and translate them into concrete improvement suggestions in systems and working methods Order and validate configuration in collaboration with the provider Communicate with the operation to capture needs and support the use of the system Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager Quality assure documentation for end users Contribute to activities in the management plan being carried out as planned Conduct training initiatives for the operation Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and system version upgrades Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has academic education in healthcare or other university education that the employer deems relevant Has experience working with the Cosmic healthcare information system Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Has a Class B driving license It is a merit if you: Have education in systems administration or information systems Have clinical education (e.g., nurse, nursing assistant, physician, medical secretary, or equivalent) Have work experience in clinical systems administration or similar work Have experience working independently and managing multiple parallel tasks Have work experience planning and conducting training initiatives Have work experience collaborating with providers and external parties Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Resilient Pedagogical insight Relationship-building Service-oriented Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
