System Administrator for Clinical Systems Administration, Region Västernorrland

About the Operation The Regional Management Office has three main assignments: To direct and support operations based on legislation and regulations. To offer support and services to the operations' processes and development. To provide support and qualitative documentation to the political elected officials organization and regional management. The IT Support operational area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and shared processes for the area. It also manages services within these areas. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The operation's mission is to deliver IT services and telephony of high quality and security to the region's operations. Deliveries are made through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a purchasing organization since large parts of the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic patient record system, and the service focuses on clinical system administration and development. We are now recruiting two system administrators/object specialists to the clinical systems administration unit. You will work within the Clinical Support and e-Health management object with a focus on Cosmic. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. If needed, the possibility of clinical work in a certain part of the position may be offered. Choice of work location within the region in Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Sollefteå. The unit is responsible for clinical system administration of Cosmic. You will work closely with healthcare operations and contribute to the system functioning in daily work for healthcare employees. The assignment involves developing, managing, and improving system support. We are now strengthening the regional Cosmic administration in the following areas; Care Documentation Care Administration Medications Ordering and Response Education Depending on your competency profile, you will be matched to the relevant area. Work Tasks Handle issues related to Cosmic and ensure that these are followed up and addressed Analyze the operation's needs and translate these into concrete improvement suggestions for systems and work methods Order and validate configuration in cooperation with the provider Conduct dialogue with the operation to capture needs and support the use of the system Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager Quality assure documentation for end users Contribute to activities in the management plan being implemented as planned Conduct training initiatives for the operation Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and version upgrades of the system Qualifications We are looking for someone who Has academic education in healthcare or other university education that the employer considers relevant Has experience working with the Cosmic healthcare information system Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Has a B-category driver's license It is meritorious if you Have education in system administration or information systems Have clinical education (e.g., nurse, nursing assistant, physician, medical secretary, or equivalent) Have work experience in clinical system administration or similar work Have experience working independently and managing multiple parallel tasks Have work experience planning and conducting training initiatives Have work experience collaborating with providers and external parties Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities Persistent Pedagogical insight Relationship-building Service-oriented Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
