System Administrator for Clinical Systems Management, Region Västernorrland

About the Operations The Regional Management Administration has three main assignments: To govern and support operations based on legislation and regulations. To offer support and services to the operations' processes and development. To provide support and quality information to the political representative organization and regional management. The IT Support operations area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and common processes in the area. It is also responsible for services within these areas. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The operations' mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services and telephony to the region's operations. Deliveries occur through projects, management, and support for a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a purchasing organization since much of the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic journal system, and the service focuses on work with clinical system management and development. We are now seeking several system administrators/object specialists for the unit for clinical system management. You will work within the Clinical Support and e-Health management object with a focus on Cosmic. The position is a special fixed-term full-time employment for one year with the possibility of extension. Start date by agreement. Optional placement location within the region in Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Sollefteå. If needed, the opportunity may be provided for clinical work as a portion of the position. The unit is responsible for clinical system management of Cosmic. You will work closely with healthcare operations and contribute to ensuring the system functions in the daily work of healthcare employees. The assignment involves developing, managing, and improving system support. We are now strengthening the regional Cosmic management in the following areas: Clinical Documentation Healthcare Administration Medications Ordering and Response Training Depending on your competency profile, you will be matched to the relevant area. Responsibilities Handle matters related to Cosmic and ensure they are followed up and addressed Analyze the operation's needs and translate them into concrete improvement suggestions in systems and work methods Order and validate configuration in cooperation with the provider Engage in dialogue with the operation to capture needs and support the use of the system Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager Quality assure documentation for end users Contribute to carrying out activities in the management plan as scheduled Conduct training activities for the operation Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and system version upgrades Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has academic education in healthcare or other higher education that the employer deems relevant Has experience working with the Cosmic healthcare information system Has good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written Has a Class B driver's license It is meritorious if you: Have education in system management or information systems Have clinical training (e.g., nurse, nursing assistant, physician, medical secretary, or equivalent) Have work experience in clinical system management or similar work Have experience working independently and managing multiple concurrent tasks Have work experience planning and conducting training activities Have work experience collaborating with providers and external parties Have good knowledge of English, spoken and written To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Reliable Pedagogical insight Relationship building Service oriented Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the operations that are most vital for residents' ability to participate in society.
