Do you want to be part of building a completely new unit that will be the hub for the Community Development Office's systems administration? We are now seeking an experienced and driven systems administrator who wants to take a key role in our newly established geodata and systems coordination unit. The unit is central to ensuring that our business systems support the office's goals and contribute to efficient, sustainable, and well-functioning community development. As a systems administrator, you will be one of five employees who together build up working methods, procedures, and collaboration forms from scratch. Within the unit, we are responsible for the management and development of approximately 100 systems, programs, and applications used within the Community Development Office's operations. Duties As a systems administrator, you are responsible for the management, development, and coordination of multiple business systems. You work closely with the operations to capture needs, identify improvement opportunities, and translate these into concrete development initiatives. The role includes planning and implementing upgrades, tests, and changes to systems, as well as coordinating contacts with suppliers and other internal and external stakeholders. You ensure that system documentation, management plans, and procedures are kept current and that systems support the organization's working methods in the best possible way. The role also involves participating in development and digitalization projects and contributing to establishing common working methods for systems administration within the new unit. We are looking for you We are looking for someone with several years of experience in systems administration and who is accustomed to working at the intersection of operations and IT. You have a good understanding of how business systems are used to support business processes and feel confident in coordinating different stakeholders, driving change efforts, and translating operational needs into system solutions. You need to have good knowledge of the urban development process, construction process, or other related processes within the Community Development Office's operational area. You understand how operations, information, and systems interact and can help create efficient and sustainable working methods. You have post-secondary education in, for example, systems science, IT, urban development, or another field that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: - Education in systems science, IT, urban development, surveying, or another field that the employer deems relevant. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through several years of work experience in systems administration and business development. - Several years of experience in systems administration or a corresponding role. - A good understanding of the entire lifecycle of systems administration, from needs analysis and requirements specification to implementation, management, and further development. - Good ability to communicate with both operations and IT. - Good ability to document and work in a structured manner. - Good knowledge of the urban development process, construction process, planning and building process, property process, or other related processes within the community development area. - You express yourself well in Swedish, orally and in writing. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience with: - Systems administration in municipal or public operations - Management models such as PM3 or ITIL - Property, construction, or urban development systems - Requirements management and business development - Project management or change management Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and has the ability to see the bigger picture while handling details. You enjoy taking responsibility, driving issues forward, and creating results together with others. At the same time, you have a genuine interest in business development and digitalization.
