Would you like to work in a central role where you can combine procurement and business development through our procurement system? We are now looking for a driven and solution-oriented systems administrator who wants to help develop our e-commerce and procurement process for the City of Västerås.
Your Tasks
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that our e-commerce system and procurement-related processes function efficiently and support the needs of our operations. You will work together with three colleagues on this assignment, and the work is varied and includes both operational and strategic elements. You will work closely with procurement specialists, category managers, finance, and operations to ensure that our procurement and invoice flows maintain high quality and continue to develop.
An important part of the assignment is to manage and develop our systems. This includes handling master data, administering permissions, approval roles and delegations, and ensuring that organizational structures and delivery addresses are correct and up-to-date. You are also responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in ordering and invoice flows, and you support operations on matters related to orders, receipts, and order matching. The role also involves participating in procurements with a focus on e-commerce and invoice management.
Beyond day-to-day management, you will have an active role in our development work. You will drive and implement changes in systems and working methods, participate in the introduction of new ordering channels and digital solutions, and take part in development initiatives and user forums.
To provide operations with good decision support, you will also work with monitoring and analysis. You will produce statistics, reports, and materials related to procurement and invoice handling, and contribute analyses of procurement patterns, contract compliance, and system usage. Through your work, you contribute to strengthening governance, increasing efficiency, and ensuring that the city's resources are used in the best possible way.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience working in procurement systems, preferably Visma Proceedo or similar, and you have a good understanding of invoice handling and financial flows. You have experience with permission administration, and we see it as a plus if you have experience with master data management. We want you to have experience and knowledge of e-commerce and ordering processes, and if you also have experience with public procurement, that is an additional advantage.
As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in developing working methods and processes. You are responsible and can independently drive your work forward. You enjoy collaborating and have an easy time building trusting relationships. As you work with both users and suppliers, you have the ability to adapt your communication and are both clear and pedagogical.
You work at the intersection of operations, finance, procurement, and digital development and become an important part of the work to create efficient, sustainable, and quality-assured processes. We offer independent and varied work where you have great responsibility, good development opportunities, and engaged colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge.
Welcome with your application and become part of our work for smarter and more sustainable procurement in the City of Västerås.
