Job Responsibilities This role is one of three new key positions that strengthen the IT/OT organization at the heating plant, where you together with both new and existing colleagues will help build, influence and shape an entirely new service. As OT Systems Manager, you have overall responsibility for lifecycle, functionality and security in the heating plant's OT and SCADA environments. The role is central to ensuring stable and secure production and involves close collaboration with operations, maintenance, automation and IT. Your responsibilities include: Managing operations, availability and stability of OT systems at the combined heat and power plant Maintaining and further developing control systems, HMI, control room computers and OT hardware Monitoring operational status and supporting operations personnel with troubleshooting, alarms and incidents Planning and conducting preventive maintenance, upgrades and decommissioning Working with lifecycle planning, version management and compatibility checks Maintaining OT configurations, process images and technical documentation Being the requester and requirement setter for complex OT changes Working with OT security, including patching, backup, access rights and incident management Collaborating with IT on networks, servers, backup and logging Coordinating suppliers and system partners and supporting OT-related projects Educational Requirements Post-secondary education in automation, electrical engineering, industrial IT or data technology. Several years of relevant practical experience in OT environments can replace formal education. Driver's license category B Required Knowledge and Experience Must Have Experience working with OT systems in mission-critical environments Good understanding of industrial processes and OT environments Knowledge of OT networks, servers and backup Experience with troubleshooting and collaboration with operations, IT and suppliers Meritorious Experience with OT and IT/OT security, preferably according to IEC 62443 Experience with ABB xA800 Experience with lifecycle management, upgrades or system changes Experience from the energy industry or other critical infrastructure operations For success in this role, we see that you are: Responsible and structured, with the ability to work long-term with systems and lifecycles Analytical and solution-oriented, especially when troubleshooting and handling incidents Collaborative, with strong ability to communicate with both technical specialists and operations personnel Thorough and security-conscious, with understanding of the consequences in a mission-critical environment Independent, yet confident in making decisions in collaboration with other functions Personal qualities are crucial as the role combines technical responsibility, coordination and work in mission-critical environments.
