For our customer in the defense industry, we are now looking for three system administrators who want to be part of a DevOps team responsible for both new and existing Windows platforms. Your Responsibilities As a Windows System Administrator, you work together with your colleagues on development, operations, and management of the customer's Windows-based server and client environments. You become part of a technically skilled team responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is stable, secure, and adapted to the organization's needs. The role includes both ongoing operations and support as well as development, automation, and technical improvement work. IT security is a natural part of everyday work since many of the systems are subject to high security requirements. Your Main Responsibilities Deliver client and server services and participate in the operations and support team Work with application packaging and distribution Manage patching and upgrades of client and server environments Develop scripts and use automation tools to streamline work methods and deliveries Work with development related to infrastructure systems Ensure that applicable IT and information security requirements are met Actively participate in technical improvement work Develop work methods, processes, and procedures Document work according to applicable requirements and processes Share knowledge and support users and colleagues Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience in Windows Server and Windows clients who wants to continue developing in the field. You have a genuine technical interest, enjoy solving problems, and like to stay updated on new technology and industry developments. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and used to independently driving your work forward. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge with others. Workload can vary, and therefore you need to be able to prioritize, maintain structure, and adapt to the organization's needs. Documentation is an important part of the work, which requires you to be able to express yourself clearly and communicate technical information to both users and colleagues. We would like to see that you have Experience with Windows Server and Windows clients Experience with operations, support, and management of IT infrastructure Experience with application packaging Good knowledge of common scripting languages, such as PowerShell Ability to work in a structured manner with documentation, procedures, and processes A genuine interest in technology, automation, and improvement work Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Swedish citizenship, as the assignment is subject to security requirements It is meritorious if you have experience with VMware Horizon Microsoft SCCM Active Directory DNS and WDS MSI packaging VMware App Volumes It is very meritorious if you have experience with Teradici VMware vSphere OP5 Git Other Information: Location: Linköping Extent: Full-time Start: By agreement The assignment is placed in a security classification.
