We are seeking an experienced systems administrator for a consulting assignment in IT infrastructure at a larger organization with high demands for stability, security, and availability. This role is ideal for you if you have broad and deep expertise in Microsoft-based environments and enjoy taking responsibility for structure, prioritization, and daily work in a smaller technical team. About the AssignmentYou will become part of an IT production organization responsible for infrastructure, operations, and service. The infrastructure environment includes networks, storage, server platforms, and databases, where you will be part of the Windows technology area. The Windows area consists of a small team with expertise in server and client platforms, Exchange, RDS, MS SQL, automation, and technical support. All components are operated on-premises, making this role suitable for you if you have solid experience with traditional IT infrastructure and want to work close to the technical environment. Beyond your technical expertise, you will have an important role in creating structure and progress in the team's work. You are expected to take responsibility for leading and coordinating daily operations. Examples of Work TasksAdministration and further development of Windows server and client platforms Work with Exchange, MS SQL, and virtual Windows Server environments Automation and optimization of operations and administration Work with management tools for Windows environments PowerShell scripting and automation 3rd line support within relevant technology areas Plan and structure the team's ongoing work Prioritize and delegate work tasks Initiate and lead meetings based on business needs Together with the team, develop and maintain a long-term and realistic roadmap Collaborate with other technology areas to create a stable and well-functioning IT environment What We're Looking ForTo be eligible for this assignment, you need to have at least four years of professional experience in all of the following areas: Windows server and client platforms Exchange MS SQL Automation work Management tools for Windows environments, such as SCCM and WSUS PowerShell Administration of virtual Windows Server environments operated through VMware products You must also be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English.
