We are looking for a System Safety Engineer for a product-oriented assignment within unmanned helicopter systems and aviation technology. About the assignment: The assignment is placed within Product & Compliance and concerns system safety for a complete helicopter system. The work is project-based and takes place in close collaboration with multiple equipment groups and technical disciplines within the organization. The environment is advanced, product-oriented, and international, with connection to unmanned aerial systems for marine, military, and critical infrastructure applications, among others. The customer has its technical base in Linköping. You will, among other things: Review system safety work based on established requirements. Perform various types of system safety analyses. Identify safety-critical functions and components. Develop system safety requirements. Support systems engineers in design work to ensure that safety requirements are met. Contribute to the development of safety measures together with technical specialists. Document analyses, requirements, and decisions in a clear and structured manner. We are looking for you who: You have primarily experience with systems engineering work focused on System Safety, preferably from aviation, defense, unmanned systems, or other safety-critical product development. You are experienced in working in a structured way with requirements, standards, analysis, and documentation. Personality is important. You need to be collaborative, curious, meticulous, and confident in driving your work forward even when issues require analysis and dialogue across multiple technical areas. A newly graduated engineer with the right understanding, strong drive, and clear potential can also be relevant. Your Profile Relevant higher education or university education as an engineer. Very good English, spoken and written. Very good collaboration skills. Structured, self-directed, and flexible working approach. Swedish citizenship, since security clearance or security vetting may become relevant. Meritorious: Several years of experience with systems engineering work focused on System Safety. Experience working with standards. Strong documentation skills. Experience from the aviation industry. Experience with unmanned systems, UAV/UAS, or helicopter systems. Previous experience from safety-critical or regulatory-driven product environments. Assignment Information: Security: Security clearance or security vetting may become relevant.
