Sylvamo Nymölla Mill is located two miles east of Kristianstad in Bromölla Municipality. The mill manufactures paper pulp using the magnesite method and uncoated fine paper. Our customer base includes, for example, Europe's largest paper wholesalers and office supplies retailers, and Multicopy is our most well-known product. About the position The role of Operator includes a variety of both physical "hands-on" work at the machines, process monitoring, checking paper quality, and forklift operation. In the converting department on our sheet machines, we work in teams. We serve the machines with the correct orders, setting of format and basis weight, correct packaging for wrapping, and position finished pallets with forklifts in our finished goods warehouse. You will have ongoing collaboration with colleagues in areas such as packaging, planning, and maintenance, as well as adjacent departments such as paper production and Internal Logistics. In long-term work, you will become an important part of our continuous improvement efforts, where the focus is on developing both the business and our production processes. You will also actively contribute to workplace environment efforts within the department. Who are you? To thrive in the role, you have a genuine interest and good understanding of technology. Safety is always our highest priority, which means you have good consequence thinking and feel comfortable asking for help when needed. Your knowledge and experience · A valid upper secondary school diploma in science, technology, industry, automotive technology, electrical technology, automation, construction, social studies, or economics, or alternatively 5 years of combined industrial work experience. · Valid B-category driver's license · Experience working in industry, preferably process industry · Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. · Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation is advantageous but not required. Other information Working hours are continuous 3-shift work, which means production runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a rotating schedule of morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
