Here you'll have a varied workday where you combine welding and assembly on different projects and follow the product through much of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities At DISAB, you'll be part of production building industrial vacuum systems and vacuum units for demanding environments around the world. When an order reaches production, you'll take over and be responsible for completing the product according to drawings, quality requirements, and customer specifications. In this role, you'll work approximately 50 percent welding and 50 percent assembly. Welding work mainly involves modifications and completion of components supplied by subcontractors, while assembly work means building and finishing the machines. Your tasks will include: MIG/MAG welding of parts and components. Interpreting drawings and basic welding drawings. Modifications, reinforcements, and quality inspections of welded structures. Assembly of motors, pumps, and vacuum systems. Installation of hydraulic, compressed air, and mechanical components. Basic electrical installations and cable routing according to drawings and electrical schematics. Testing, adjustment, and finishing of machines before delivery. You'll work closely with your production colleagues and be involved throughout much of the manufacturing process. Here you'll have work where no two days are exactly alike and where your craftsmanship makes a real difference to the final product. What We're Looking For You have experience with welding and a strong interest in mechanical work. Perhaps you work as a welder today but want a more varied workday, or you have experience from a workshop, automotive, or industrial environment where both welding and assembly have been a natural part of the work. To succeed in this role, you need to feel confident with MIG/MAG welding and have good tool handling skills. You don't need to be a certified welder, but you should be able to read drawings, understand welding instructions, and independently perform welding work with good quality. Required Qualifications: B-category driver's license MIG/MAG welding experience Mechanical work or assembly experience Ability to read and follow drawings Good knowledge of Swedish and/or English Meritorious Qualifications: Experience with hydraulic or compressed air systems Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical schematics C-category driver's license Forklift certification Traveling crane certification Experience from automotive, industrial, or workshop environments We believe your personal qualities are crucial to how well you'll thrive at DISAB.
