As a welder at Lagab, you become an important part of production where you work with the manufacturing and assembly of custom-built truck bodies. You will work closely with engineers and colleagues in the workshop and perform varied tasks within welding, assembly, and mechanical work. Your work tasks may include: Welding of components and structures Assembly and workshop work according to specifications Work in a mechanical workshop with a focus on quality and precision Contact and collaboration with engineers and production team Handling of materials and tools in a structured work environment The work is conducted during daytime hours. This is a temporary staffing placement where you will be employed by Effektiv Halmstad, with good opportunities to be taken over by Lagab in the long term. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with welding experience and a genuine interest in workshop work. You are confident working from drawings and have technical and practical skills. Experience with MIG/MAG welding is a merit, as are skills in mechanical assembly. As a person, you are: Thorough and quality-conscious Practical and skilled Solution-oriented and proactive A team player who also enjoys working independently Positive, engaged, and committed to contributing to a good work environment You communicate fluently in Swedish in both speech and writing, which is important for both safety and collaboration.
