Start: Immediately Assignment: 6-month fixed-term contract with possibility of extension Location: Umeå Work Hours: Shift work About the Welder Position As a welder with our client, you will be an important part of production in a role that places great emphasis on quality and problem-solving. You work in a modern industrial environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are central to daily operations. In this role, you will perform welding and sheet metal work according to drawings and work instructions to ensure that manufactured components meet high quality standards. Sometimes creative solutions are needed to fix the toughest problems. The work is done both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in production. Examples of Work Tasks: Welding of components and structures according to drawings and instructions Quality control of welded parts Address quality issues through sheet metal work Post-processing of manufactured products Handling of materials and components in production Contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace Collaboration with colleagues and other functions in production Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone who ideally has education in welding and sheet metal work, and experience with welding work in industry or workshop settings. However, if you're a handy auto mechanic with good experience in welding and sheet metal work, you could still be the right candidate for us. We prefer that you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a strong safety mindset. Furthermore, you enjoy working both independently and with others to achieve common goals.
