Your Responsibilities
In the role of Welder, you report to the Workshop Group Manager. You will be responsible for independently performing your work in ongoing production in accordance with ISO 3834-2, while also coming up with improvement suggestions to enhance both the product, process, and workplace.
Your responsibilities will include
• following work descriptions and routines that exist within your work area.
• working to maintain established schedules and delivery times.
• meeting the production and quality goals of your work area.
• maintaining and operating equipment to prevent unplanned downtime.
• ensuring that order and cleanliness are maintained in your own workplace.
Your Background/Your Qualities
To succeed in this role, we see that you
• have workshop training or equivalent work experience with a focus on welding
• have sufficient skill to pass welding tests for the welding methods used at the company
o TIG welding with solid rod/wire
o TIG welding without filler material
o MAG welding with slag-forming electrode
o Orbital both open and closed torch
• have experience in other workshop tasks such as drilling, threading, and cutting
• have good knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement techniques
• speak and write Swedish fluently and can understand written information in English
• can independently plan your work and are solution-oriented
• are responsible, proactive, and willing to collaborate as a person
• enjoy making improvement suggestions for operations and then drive their implementation
• have a Class B driver's license, forklift license, and overhead crane license
It is meritorious if you
• have active certifications for stainless steel welding
• have documented experience working with Lean and/or Six Sigma
• have worked in the ERP system Monitor
