About the Client Company Do you have experience in welding or training in the field? Then you might be exactly the right person for us. We are now looking for a manual welder for our client in Örnsköldsvik, with a focus on both manual and semi-automatic welding. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will work with welding using stick, TIG, and MIG methods. You will read drawings, perform visual assessments of welds, and address both welding and dimensional errors as needed. You will work closely with production technicians and welding specialists to develop new method approvals and contribute improvement suggestions that make the work even better. The work requires you to be flexible and adapt to what production needs at any given time. You need to be comfortable working both independently and with others, and feel confident taking responsibility for maintaining high quality standards throughout the process. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is experienced in reading drawings and feels confident in what you do. You like to take your own initiative, enjoy finding solutions, and are creative when needed. At the same time, you are thorough, responsible, and appreciate having order and organization around you. You work well with others but also easily take individual responsibility. In your application, feel free to tell us what welding methods and materials you have experience with. If you have a forklift or overhead crane license, hot work certification, or other credentials, that's a plus. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have completed upper secondary education in an industrial program with a focus on welding. You need to speak and write Swedish well, and have experience with manual welding, blueprint reading, and quality assessment. It's also good if you are used to working in production systems and feel comfortable with computers. Other Information You will be employed by Konsultia and work on-site at our client in Örnsköldsvik. The assignment is long-term and for the right person there are excellent opportunities for employment with the company in the future. The position is full-time and working hours vary between day shifts and 2-shift schedules, depending on department and assignment.
