Swedish Church Seeks Two Substitute Parish Educators/Youth Leaders

We are looking for someone who is trained as a parish educator within the Swedish Church or has equivalent education and experience working in a parish. In Raus Parish, we work together for learning so that children, young people, and their families receive the gospel of Jesus and develop growing faith in God. We want to convey courage for life and hope for the future. The Swedish Church in Helsingborg is now seeking two substitute parish educators/youth leaders on a full-time basis. There are many opportunities and we value work satisfaction and community. We shape the future of the parish and pastoral work together. You will become part of a team of 19 people, including two parish educators, and will be part of the pedagogical activity group. We are environmentally certified and committed to sustainable operations. The Position You will primarily work with children aged 0-12 and their families. The position includes open preschool, collaboration with schools and preschools, baptism follow-up in various formats, groups that experience biblical stories, age-integrated work toward worship services, and serving as a pedagogue in children's choirs. We offer programs and walks that follow the church calendar for schools. We continue to develop work for children through groups in new ways and different formats. We see collaboration with other actors in society as natural and enriching for staff, but above all for our children and young people. You also see the possibility of working in an age-integrated manner. The position may also include work with confirmation and youth. Qualifications We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
