Movant Helsingborg and Movant Malmö are seeking an SVA Combination Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning. We are looking for you to strengthen our schools with language development expertise grounded in research. As an SVA teacher at our schools, you are expected to teach within SVA combination and work on language development with all students at the school, including industry-specific and professional language as well as professional Swedish. You will teach, lead, and motivate our adult students at the school. Your focus is always to place teaching and students at the center and create conditions for our students to thrive, develop, and achieve the goals of their education. Your work tasks also include documentation, conducting conversations, collegial learning, school development, participation in professional development in various forums, and may include work placement visits, etc. In your work, you will receive support, introduction, and your work will be led by the principal and/or assistant principal. As an SVA teacher, you are expected to work in close collaboration with your vocational teacher colleagues and with all colleagues at the schools. You are expected to teach SVA, professional Swedish, and work on language development within SVA combination as well as work on language development across all programs and handle other relevant work tasks. You will guide students in their learning, teach/support/assist in both practical and theoretical parts, and follow up on their knowledge development and learning levels. We are looking for you with work experience/knowledge from SVA, curious to learn more about our programs, and with commitment to our professions and our students. You are expected to participate in the school's knowledge and values work, familiarize yourself with relevant governing documents, possess digital competence, have an inclusive approach, and be able to adapt teaching to students' needs. As a professional, you are eager to learn, unpretentious, a good role model, and naturally practice what you preach. You share your own knowledge, show humility toward colleagues' expertise, support/help where needed, and recognize students' different backgrounds/goals. Your personality is characterized by collaboration skills, flexibility, and a strong ability to build relationships. In your teaching role, you are professional, give our students a positive belief in their ability to reach their goals, and stand for a learning/developing climate, provide student feedback, and maintain a focus on quality. Qualifications + Formal Competence: It is a requirement to be eligible for the position/to be authorized to teach Swedish as a second language that you hold a teacher's degree with relevant qualifications or hold a teacher's degree with supplementary studies of at least 45 credits in Swedish as a second language. It is advantageous to have previous experience in SVA combination and integrated work. For the position, it is a requirement that you have an interest in working in our Building Halls together with colleagues, that you are down-to-earth, and passionate about language development work on our two schools' programs. Driver's License: B driver's license is required.
