Become our new Sushi Chef / Weekend Extra at Sushi Daily After some time away, we're finally back – now with new leadership, fresh energy, and the same fantastic sushi (if not even better!). For our kiosk in Umeå, we're now looking for a passionate and independent team member who wants to be part of our new journey. We're looking for you to work part-time (approximately 40–60 %). Working hours are during daytime, primarily Friday–Sunday (Saturday–Sunday can also work). This makes the position perfect as a side job alongside studies or other commitments! What does the role involve? As a sushi chef with us, you work with genuine food craftsmanship from the ground up. You prepare raw materials, roll sushi according to Sushi Daily's successful concept, and provide our customers with fantastic service. Since work shifts on Saturdays and Sundays involve working alone, you'll have significant personal responsibility for keeping the kiosk running smoothly, maintaining the highest hygiene standards, and keeping it well-stocked with fresh sushi. Who are we looking for? Background: You have experience producing food in a restaurant environment or commercial kitchen. Personality: You're a quick learner, take initiative, and are comfortable working independently. Flexibility: You're happy working weekends and take great responsibility for your own work. Previous sushi experience is not required, but is a plus. With the right attitude and the quick training we're looking for, we'll provide you with all the sushi training you need, as long as you have the right mindset and basic kitchen experience! What we offer you: Sushi Training: Thorough instruction in the art of sushi and our recipes. Security & Fair Terms: We naturally have a collective agreement, which means market-rate salary, insurance, and pension. Good Working Hours: The position is during daytime (no late hotel or restaurant nights!).
