About the Role As a Supply Chain Manager, you will have overall responsibility for logistics, planning, and distribution at Nordic Paper. You report to the Director of Supply Chain and will be based in Karlstad, with travel to other group facilities and external partners. You hold a key role in ensuring efficient operations, high service levels, and cost-effectiveness, while driving continuous improvement and development initiatives within the function. Key Responsibilities Responsible for logistics, planning, and distribution at Nordic Paper, and lead and manage development projects within your area of responsibility Procurement of logistics services Develop, optimize, and set targets for processes, routines, and workflows Monitor and analyze key metrics related to inventory, transportation, and claims Participate in procurement of external transportation and services based on operational needs Monitor market developments and changes in the supplier landscape Responsible for health, safety, and working environment within your departments, and responsible for target achievement and corrective actions when deviations occur. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: Relevant higher education or university degree Several years of experience in the field, preferably from international operations Experience from similar operations is an asset Experience in a leadership role with personnel responsibility Personal Qualities Your personality matters to us. Travel to our other facilities may occur. Start date by agreement.
