Your Responsibilities As an SQE within turbine Core Components, you will work closely with suppliers and commodity managers to ensure high quality and delivery precision. You will drive supplier development and collaborate across multiple interfaces in an international and cross-functional environment. You will work in one or more of the following areas, depending on your background and experience: Casting Forging Machining Welding Coating In the role, you will, among other things: Lead and drive supplier development projects Manage deviations through containment, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive and risk-reducing measures Plan and conduct supplier audits Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a global organization Contribute to ensuring qualified deliveries from qualified suppliers You will also be responsible for qualifying suppliers together with cross-functional teams, where you assess capacity and conduct initial audits. You will lead product and process qualification (PPQ) work in accordance with current processes and standards, and support suppliers in following Siemens Energy's quality processes and using relevant tools. Further, you will monitor suppliers' quality performance and initiate improvement programs as needed. You will work on conducting root cause analyses and implementing risk-reducing measures, as well as follow up on their effectiveness. An important part of the role is also to plan and conduct regular supplier audits. You will work proactively with global teams and internal customers to ensure high quality and long-term sustainable deliveries. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a technical background and strong interest in quality and supplier development. You are structured, results-oriented, and have the ability to see the big picture while prioritizing the right issues. You have an engineering degree (bachelor's or master's) or equivalent experience, preferably complemented with project management experience. Experience in areas such as machining, casting, coating, forging, or welding is a merit, as is experience from R&D or production engineering. Furthermore, you have knowledge of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis (RCA), as well as experience in monitoring and reporting supplier performance. You have a good understanding of commercial relationships and thrive in a role with many points of contact. You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is highly desirable. The role also involves some travel. Application Process This position is initially a consulting assignment through us at Skill.
