Your future challenge As a Supplier Project Manager in Strategic Procurement, you are responsible for writing and project-leading the implementation of procurement contracts when it comes to suppliers who are to perform comprehensive development work related to a specific product. In this case, it concerns the development of an Ambulance variant of the BvS10 and C4I on the CV90 platform. Within systems procurement, we are a growing group of 50 driven and engaged employees. The work as a strategic procurement manager within systems consists of being responsible for selected suppliers within a product area. In the role, you perform supplier evaluations, request for quotations, evaluate and negotiate terms, and ensure that we leverage opportunities and mitigate risks within your area. You work on building relationships and development with our important suppliers as well as ongoing monitoring and management by objectives. You lead cross-functional teams in the project/contract phase with our suppliers and are responsible for ensuring that we have contracts in place. Who you are We work in category teams that are composed of different roles and specialists. We are looking for you whose strength is communication, creating good relationships and building long-term networks. You are goal-oriented and take initiative and in a structured and thorough manner you lead yourself and others. Your planning ability is important, you are analytical and driven by creating good business deals. Being able to look beyond the immediate horizon and work with both a long-term perspective as well as manage daily operations to achieve results are important abilities in the role. You have an academic education such as a civil engineer, business economist or other relevant post-secondary education. Because we have an international character with customers and suppliers, you need to have good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We would like to see that you have experience from a role with a commercial focus and have experience from procurement, sales and/or project management as well as an interest in technology.
