We have a broad range of courses, from qualifying education and commissioned training to exciting specialized courses and vocational training. Sundsgården also operates a successful hotel and conference business. This commercial division has grown significantly in recent years and represents an important and integrated part of our overall operations. Your Role Sundsgården has experienced very positive development in recent years, and your role will be to continue our development work. As rector and CEO, you bear overall responsibility to the board for Sundsgården's combined operations. The assignment involves realizing the goals and results that the board decides. You lead and are responsible for ongoing operations, its finances, and personnel. You work closely with the board's presidium (chair and vice chair) and serve as the board's spokesperson. You are supported by a competent management team consisting of an assistant rector, finance and property manager, and hotel and conference manager. You drive the development of new assignments and pedagogical development, while as CEO you have overall responsibility for our commercial operations. Your Core Responsibilities Lead, coordinate, and oversee Sundsgårdens folkhögskola and Sundsgården Hotel and Conference. Manage budget, results, quality assurance, and goal achievement. Cultivate, champion, and bring to life the school's Christian profile. Drive development, for example by identifying relevant projects and assignments and implementing them. Actively foster a positive and development-oriented workplace culture. Represent the school externally and build strong networks locally, regionally, and nationally. Who Are You? We are looking for a secure, relationship-building leader with sound strategic thinking who can effectively lead and oversee our various operational areas. You have a genuine commitment to folk education and folk high schools. You share our Christian values and see them as an asset in the school's daily operations. You are oriented toward the external environment and are a good communicator. We would appreciate that you have experience working at a folk high school and knowledge of the regulations governing folk high school operations. Your Qualifications Appropriate university education/academic degree or equivalent competence. Experience in management and leadership with personnel, budget, and financial responsibility. Experience working at a folk high school and good knowledge of the folk high school's distinctive character, pedagogy, methods, and specific regulations is a merit. Strong leadership qualities. Good strategic ability and strong drive. Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing. It is a merit if you have completed rector training, with special consideration for rector training for folk high schools.
