We're now looking for two nurses who want to become part of our engaged team in Forsheda. The primary placements are at the Särskilt boende Soläng and Forsgården facilities.
The work is team-based, which means you help each other in your area.
This may include supporting a colleague in home health care or in the neighboring district of Bredaryd.
Job Responsibilities
As a nurse with us, you are responsible for health and medical care services within municipal health care. You work with both planned and acute interventions for patients of various ages and with varying care needs.
You make independent medical assessments, carry out treatments, and take necessary measures. The tasks range from common procedures such as medication management, blood sampling, and wound care, to more advanced procedures such as dialysis, infusions, tracheostomy care, CVK/venous ports, and drain management.
To support your work, specialist expertise is available in palliative advanced care, wound care, and psychiatry. You also have access to our methodology center, where training is held and where you can refresh and deepen your knowledge.
You work closely with colleagues in a team-oriented approach where the goal is always to create the best possible quality for those we serve. The role requires that you can work independently, make your own decisions, and meet people with attentiveness, empathy, and a holistic perspective.
Work takes place primarily during daytime hours, but some evening and weekend shifts may be included.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in the role of nurse in Värnamo Municipality, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are calm, confident, and stable, and you find it easy to create a positive and trusting climate around you. You are attentive, empathetic, and have a natural ability to collaborate both internally and externally.
You are skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work in an independent and efficient manner. Patient participation and close collaboration with next of kin you see as a natural part of good care.

Conditions
Before a job offer is made, a certificate from the police criminal record registry must be presented.
A B driving license valid for manual transmission is a requirement.
