About the role
As a Control and Automation Technician in Stockholm, you will work to ensure that industrial processes are controlled safely, efficiently, and stably through the installation, programming, and optimization of PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, and drive systems. What you will do
Install, configure, and program PLC and SCADA systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to improve process stability and efficiency.
Perform commissioning, verification, and functional testing of automation solutions.
Maintain and update documentation, drawings, and control schematics.
Collaborate with project and operations teams for safe and efficient handover.
Ensure that work complies with safety regulations and electrical certification requirements.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and improvement initiatives at the facility.
What you bring
Relevant education in automation, control engineering, or electrical engineering (vocational or engineering degree) and practical experience with PLC/SCADA systems.
Knowledge of sensors, drive systems, networks, and communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
Electrical certification and B driver's license where applicable; strong proficiency in Swedish and English.
