Description:

Do you want to contribute to sustainable community development, identify sharp business opportunities, and lead driven and creative team members? We're growing and looking for an engaging studio manager who wants to build both teams and architecture as we now consolidate into two studios in Luleå. Welcome to Tengbom! Here you'll find people who are curious about the world around them and have a genuine commitment to architecture and community development. Who We Are In the heart of Luleå, in the historic Riksbanshuset building, you'll find our team of 25 employees—architects, building and civil engineers, construction and design managers, and tender coordinators. We work closely together on varied projects that give you excellent opportunities to develop, whether you want to broaden your role or deepen your expertise. Our projects range from multi-activity centers, ice and sports halls, to schools, housing, defense and civil protection, care and senior living facilities, educational environments, and offices. We work closely with both public and private clients and like to follow projects all the way from concept to finished environment with a focus on good architecture, quality, function, and long-term value. Together with our studios in Piteå and Umeå, we form a shared unit as Office North, where we share knowledge and resources while being part of the entire Tengbom network with colleagues and collaborations across the country. The Norrbotten spirit is evident in our commitment to community development and in how we work—unpretentiously, solution-oriented, and with great responsibility for the whole. About the Role As a studio manager at Tengbom, you have overall responsibility for personnel, finances, and results for your studio. In this role, you are one of our most important ambassadors—you nurture and develop client relationships over time and are also responsible for projects. You lead a creative team of architects and building engineers and provide them with the right conditions to create good architecture and grow in their roles. You have a central role in business development where you network and actively work to identify business opportunities. You ensure long-term financial profitability for the studio, establish and follow up on budget and business goals, strategies, and methods. Parallel to your management role, you actively work on projects. You report to the office manager and are part of the management group for our offices in the north, where you contribute to strategic work with great opportunity to influence, think innovatively, and develop the whole. About You As a leader, you are coaching, attentive, and communicative with a genuine interest in developing individuals, teams, and business. You inspire, build engagement and relationships both internally and externally. You are established in the local market, ideally with a large network, and you actively work to identify new business opportunities. With a strong interest in architecture and community development and the drive to create profitable business, you lead collaborative efforts toward innovative architecture that creates added value for both clients and the company. Through smart analysis and results focus, you combine strategic planning with operational work, and your holistic perspective drives the business forward. We want you to have at least 10 years of experience as an architect or building engineer, with deep insight into all aspects of the design and construction process. What We Offer A permissive, exploratory, and creative culture Clear direction with freedom to shape your path A large network of engaged colleagues Sustainability in focus—in projects and our work environment Security with collective agreements and occupational pension Benefits focused on health and well-being About Tengbom Tengbom is one of the Nordic region's leading architecture firms.
